As fans entered the stadium, they were greeted by inflatable cows hanging from the main gate area, as well as a big display of cheese for sampling. Local members of the 4-H Club handed out cheese curds, maple syrup grilled cheese, and fresh fried Colby cheese. Fans also received a “Cow and Cheese” photo baseball. One half was black-and-white Holstein cow pattern, and the other half featured the team logo on a cheese wedge background.

The first pitch was thrown out by the newly crowned Alice in Dairyland. On-field promotions for the evening consisted of a cow corralling contest, chocolate milk-chugging contest, a very competitive mooing competition and a cheese curd toss. At the conclusion of the game, fans received chocolate milk samples as they exited the stadium, a fitting end to ‘Salute to Cows.’

Both clubs and fans are encouraged to submit their nominations (clubs may also nominate other teams' promotions) for promotions and events that occur anytime during the entire month of July by emailing Mark Labban at PromotionalSeminar@MiLB.com. Submit your nomination today for a chance to be honored as having the top promotion for July and be named a finalist for a Golden Bobblehead Award. Please include the following:

• Club name
• Name of the promotion
• Brief description (200 words or less)
• Any pictures or video if available

• Non-Members: $625.00 Individual or $575.00 Group*
• Job Seekers: $375.00

Notes:

• Registration includes: breakfast and lunch (on scheduled days), entry into the Welcome Reception, Cocktail Party & Silent Auction, Seminar presentations, Group Therapy & Power Sessions, Outing at Aces Ballpark, Job Fair and Trade Show.
• *Group rate applies to four (4) or more attendees from the same organization.
• Member: A Member club is part of the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues d/b/a Minor League Baseball or Major League Baseball.
• Non-Member: A Non-Member is any team, league or organization in the sports industry which is not a NAPBL Member, MLB club, exhibitor or job seeker. Non-Member registration is subject to approval by Minor League Baseball in its sole discretion.
• If registering after the September 4 Advanced Registration deadline, prices will increase $100 per registrant (Not applicable to job seekers).
