Each year, the Minor League Baseball™ Promotional Seminar hosts a job fair for its attending clubs, exhibitors and job seekers. This event is a great opportunity for both job seekers and employers to come together in one location to network, interview, learn and more.
Job seekers have the benefit of attending a job fair during the onset of the baseball hiring season, within the casual atmosphere of the Promotional Seminar, all while learning about the baseball industry and attending social events. The job fair is also a chance to get a head start on your competition before hiring begins at the Baseball Winter Meetings™.
Attending clubs and exhibitors have the ability to post as many positions as they choose and hold interviews on-site during the seminar.
The Minor League Baseball Promotional Seminar is your chance to meet with team executives and interview for available positions before the rush of the hiring season. There will be a formal job posting room, and interviews can be held on-site. Job seekers will also have access to all seminar functions, including the seminar presentations, Power Sessions, Group Therapy sessions and all social events.
This set-up is much smaller than the PBEO® Job Fair held in December at the Baseball Winter Meetings, but what it lacks in numbers, it makes up for in intimacy. In an average year, there are more than 15 positions posted at the event and approximately eight job seekers. This ration allows for much more face time with club and organization personnel.
There is a special rate of $375 for job seekers, which includes access to all seminar functions, including the Welcome Reception, Cocktail Party & Silent Auction, two breakfasts and lunches and the Ballpark Outing. Please note, hotel and travel arrangements are not included in the rate.
To register as a job seeker, please visit the registration page, making sure to select "Job Seeker" as the Organization type.
The Minor League Baseball Promotional Seminar job fair is an ideal opportunity to get a jump on your off-season hiring. This event is similar to the PBEO Job Fair in December, only on a smaller scale.
Club and company representatives can post any available positions, conduct interviews and make offers on-site, all for no additional cost for registered organizations.
To post positions in advance, log on to PBEO.com, click on the ′Positions′ tab at the top of the page and select either ′Add a Position′ (to start a new posting) or ′Current Positions′ (to activate one of your past postings) and follow the prompts.
You may also download the Position Announcement form by clicking here. Print and fill out this form and turn it in to any MiLB staff member on-site in Louisville to get a job posted.
If you have any questions about the Promotional Seminar job fair, contact Mark Labban at Info@PBEO.com or (866) WE-R-PBEO (937-7236).
